2008 Fall Schedule Update
August 18th, 2008: Preliminary
schedule changes are being processed. The schedule changes should be completed
in the next couple days!

July 10, 2008: The final alignment for the Fall 2008 season is available please click on the "League Information"
link to your left and then select "Alignment 2008" or
Click here!
The board is now working on the schedule!
Website notes!
July 26, 2008: New functionality is
now available for delegates (changing user passwords)
July 21st: Ability to change your
primary email address is now available! Click My profile then click Change
my primary email.
With registration complete and the scheduling process beginning a few important updates are being worked on for the website. This
is just an update of what to expect over the coming weeks:
- Ability to change email address - this will allow you to change
your primary email address and make it your login as well. Note:
If you have contacted Brian Kavanagh about making changes for you he has those requests,
but will ask you to make the change once the functionality is in place!
- Ability to modify any profile information - this will be completely
available with the release of the email address change functionality
- Email system - the website will have better email capabilities
than currently in place. We are working through a couple of issues, but should
have them completed soon!
- Coaches, Delegates, Field coordinator dashboards - These currently
can be accessed by clicking "League Member Access" on the menu to the left, but
most of these do not have much if any functionality. These pages will be enhanced
I will be creating a section on the web for update information, identified issues,
solutions, etc. Please be patient, but I will get this out soon!

List of Fall 2007 Finalists and Champions (click here!)
On behalf of the Delco Soccer
League, I would like to congratulate the Fall 2007 Finalists and Champions.
Since back in May when the process for organizing the Fall 2007 season began, the
ultimate goal of the board was to provide the players with a safe and competitive
environment. Through the combined efforts of the delegates, the alignment
committee, the registrars, referee assignors, referees, coaches and parents I believe
together we attained that goal with tremendous success.
The final standings
reflect what a great job the alignment committee and delegates did putting together
the divisions. The teams for the most part participated in some very evenly matched
games with a large number of the playoff spots not being determined until the very
last game of the season. The playoffs and the championship games provided some very
exciting soccer to watch.
We hope the coaches,
parents and players enjoyed the level of competition provided by the league and
that they left the field with positive experiences beyond the wins and losses. I
would like to also recognize the efforts of a very special group of people known
as the Delco Soccer League Board. Their willingness to put in whatever time it took
for the kids, their integrity and dedication to the game is what keeps this league
succeeding and improving every year.
Congratulations
to each and every team who participated this year in the Delco Soccer League. Best
wishes to them for the remainder of the year. We look forward to next year
and welcome any suggestions or ideas on improving the next season.

09/04/2008 Last player registration night before season
Registration night #5. Delegates must email Barb first by 08/31/2008 for an appointment time.This is a "clean up" night only.

09/04/2008 7-9pm: Final Player Registration & Mandatory Mtg
7 - 9 pm at ET Richardson Middle School Springfield, PA, 19064. This is the last night to register teams. Also, this is the mandatory Delegate and Coaches meeting.

09/06/2008 The 2008/2009 Delco Fall season begins
Delegates review all game day procedures for Delco with coaches by today.Fields must be set up according to Delco guidelines.Teams should position themselves per Delco's sideline policy. Both teams MUST collect ref's name,pay the refs,exchange passes and game day rosters before each game.
